Andro Henry started in 2022 with the dream of making homeownership more available to ordinary people.

Proudly based in Buffalo, NY, we believe that our city’s beautiful old houses are a core part of our heritage and deserve to be preserved and cherished. Our work includes acquiring distressed and vacant properties, rehabilitating them, and bringing them back into use for rental housing and homeownership. We use natural materials wherever possible and favor bright, lively, warm, and comfortable designs that fit the character of the neighborhood.

As landlords, we take great pride in our customer service. We see the landlord-tenant relationship as a partnership for the benefit of both parties, built on personal relationships, responsibility, and trust. We conduct timely preventative maintenance on all of our properties, respond to work orders quickly, and take the time to teach tenants the basics of home maintenance so they can better understand and feel confident in their homes.

One of our core values is creating opportunities for tenants to become homeowners. We encourage all of our tenants to see themselves as future homeowners, and we are committed to providing resources, education, and funding to those who decide to pursue homeownership. In 2026, we launched our flagship homeownership initiative, the Florence and Horace Berman Tenant Purchase Fund, which gives tenants the exclusive right to buy their homes and offers a 3-to-1 matched savings program to help with the down payment.

Our company, like our houses and ourselves, is a continual work in progress. We are committed to lifelong learning, staying humble, and working with patience, persistence, compassion, and professionalism to be a positive and helpful presence in our city and community.
